The Ribble Steam Railway is a heritage railway in Lancashire.

The 3 mile return trip runs from Preston to Longridge via Bamber Bridge and lasts approx 35 mins.

The museum is home to one of the largest collections of steam locomotives and vehicles in the country. There are permanent and temporary displays, about the history of the railways in Lancashire, taking you through from 1865 to the early 2000’s.

Visitors can take a ride on one of the steam trains, or explore the museum at their own pace. There is also a café on site, serving refreshments throughout the day.

The Ribble Steam Railway is a great day out for all the family, and an important part of Lancashire’s heritage.
